Why is it so hard to make money with internet marketing? There are some statistics online that claim that more than 95 percent of folks that get involved in online affiliate marketing never make a cent online. Why is that so and what can you do to make sure this doesn’t happen to you?

I will try to clarify some things and give you my opinion as to why this happens and you probably won’t like what I have to say. Whether or not you accept this explanation, it in no way suggest that the explanation is true or false. It just means that you have come upon your own conclusions based on your beliefs and environment.

Some people are very smart and make tons of cash online, some even smarter make none. The same goes for hard working and dedicated individuals. This principle of uncertainty applies to the levels of experience, education, background, talents and many other factors that play a role in your internet marketing business. What this means is that there has to be some other explanation as to why you are or are not making money in online marketing.

I have come to accept as fact that the predominant reason why people attain the level of success that they do is based entirely upon their personal mindset. This does not mean that your current or past circumstances and environment don’t play a role in this, it just means that they shape the circumstances and environment of your future success or failure, but do not determine what the outcome will be.

Some people say that you have to have patience to make money online, some say that focus is the key, others claim that positive thinking is what truly matters and influences your results. This are all aspects of the same thing. Mindset is what determines if you take steps towards success or away from it. Mindset determines if you need to work harder or just be patient because your riches are on their way. Mindset dictates your actions and shapes your results.

Internet marketing is in no way more difficult or more complicated than other things, it just isn’t for everyone. If you have a strong desire in making money with affiliate marketing, you have to take a deep breath, take a look at your current position and see the truth about your mindset. Have you been taking affirmative steps toward whatever goal you might have, or have you been walking away from it due to a lack of belief in yourself?

Many people try to copy other marketers’ business plan and do the same things that these marketers do, without realizing that they are not the same people. They have different interests, characters and skills. You have to do a sort of an inventory of your business plan and see what you are best at and what you like and dislike doing. You will have to transform your mindset into that of a winner and internet marketer if you ever plan on making money with internet marketing.

Internet marketing is an excellent and fun way to make a full-time income, but you have to acquire an internet marketing mindset to be successful with it. You can read all the internet marketing ebooks and that still wouldn’t guarantee your success. Change your mindset and you’ll find success.
