People got their butts kicked on tonights company MLM training call, it made people dig deep and find out their true reason for joining MLM. Basically the speaker of the training call got to a moment in his team where leaders are growing at a consistent rate and those who are not doing a darn thing.
See this MLM training call wasn’t to edify the leaders but to remind those who aren’t having success why they got involved in MLM, bring to light the problem areas they are having difficulty in and give them a course direction.
Here are some of the points covered and I want to ask you if you’re having these issues as well. I could totally resonate with the information covered because I went thru the same problems.
Stop Rushing
97% of the MLM industry want to quit their jobs in thirty to ninety days and have residual riches until the day the die. And while this holds true for some because an experienced leader can move his team from one MLM company to another and have the perception of overnight success, its not the norm for one just entering this industry.Proper mlm training teaches one that jumping from one opportunity to another will not sustain real residual wealth. Only those who stay true to their company will be able to generate true walkaway residual income.
Never ever compare your success with that of an MLM veteran that just became an overnight sensation. Your mlm lead generation strategies, your personal bribe, your branding, your enlisting knowledge will vary totally from other MLM leaders. You are the exclusive variable in this arena, there is no one like you and you have the ability to do fantastic things. If your mentor is suggesting to tweak this or that in relation to your business be sure to apply it because your counselor definitely sees a bit more than you. This slight alteration may convert the path of your business entirely.
However if you’re not recruiting anyone into your business, be honest with yourself and ask the following questions.
- Am I truly happy in the MLM company I’m involved with?
- Have I called absolutely everyone on my warm list?
- Are my Facebook friends interested in what I have to say?
- Is my leadership valuable to my prospect?
- Is my unbelief halting my success?
Fear
Has your MLM training revealed to you how to determine and overcome fear? Do any of the following pertain to you…
- Will someone laugh at me?
- Will my prospects questions put me in a position I don’t know how to answer?
- I’m afraid of picking up the phone.
- Will my friends no longer want to associate themselves with me?
Let’s stop here and let me share with you what I did to overcome these fears.
My friend if anyone laughs at you. Just bless them and walk away. You don’t have to be in MLM for somebody to laugh at you. Your core value as a person is independent of what any other person thinks, says or does. Somebody laughs at your opportunity, wonderful, because they just crossed themselves off your list & saved you the trouble. Yes you may stumble on your words when your new to prospecting and the only way to get over it is to keep practicing and having conversations with your leads. If your prospect starts asking you questions, turn the conversation around and tell them “We will cover your question soon but tell me, what did you like about the presentation?” After gauging your prospects high interest and to answer their questions, get them on a 3-way call with a leader and remove your concern of answering any questions.
If your afraid to pick up the phone and call your leads, either hire a virtual assistant to handle the calls for you assuming you have the budget for it. But if you don’t have the money, you really need to press on and get past this. Keep in mind people gave YOU their contact information because they are looking forward to hearing from you and need your help. You’re the HERO not the other way around.
Finally a true friend is few and far between. However if your friends won’t talk to you because you’re sharing a business opportunity with them, I’m sorry. These people were never your friends. True friends build up and encourage one another and if you don’t have this, start making new friends with your network marketing colleagues. You are who you surround yourself with so if you want to be a joyful, successful marketer start surrounding yourself with people who share the same thoughts.
Surround Yourself With Other Networkers
Regardless what industry you’re in, you will have high points and low points, but never feel you have to be alone in business. You can’t be your own island. Network with other MLM’ers! The ideal place to do this is at live events where you carry on your MLM training education. Yes your going to live events to further your MLM education but truly it’s about connecting, sharing and building relationships. If your next event isn’t until a few months away, find a local networking group in your city. Try Meetup.com or Facebook and search for local networking or business groups that you can connect with.
Who knows what’s in store for you at the next live event, may put you in a stance where you recruit somebody who has a huge social circle of friends. Or you can really vibrate with somebody at a live MLM event that you end up doing webinars or creating a joint venture. Expand your vision always.
Enjoy and be blessed my friend!
